TOPIC: Thompson Boat Rally 2019

The Thompson Antique & Classic Boat Rally will take place on Saturday, 29 June 2019 at Nestegg Marine in Marinette, Wisconsin. It is open to any and all vintage watercraft. No judging. No awards.

Heard today that the show in Green Bay, WI will NOT be held in 2019. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come to the Thompson Boat Rally instead on29 June. No restriction on brand/make of watercraft and no restriction on hull material. Fiberglass and aluminum are very welcome and encouraged to attend.

As part of the Rally we will have a tour of a local helicopter factory on Friday 28 June. May also tour the laminated timber manufacturing plant in Peshtigo on Sunday morning the 30th (across the alley from the old Thompson Boat factory).

Sounds like a good weekend. Those Enstrom helo's fly over my place every day. I think they follow highway 41 or the bay shoreline heading south.

Someone from the Glacier Lakes Chapter board will have to respond to your inquiry about why the Green Bay show has been cancelled. I heard it was because of no or very few dock spaces being available.

South Bay Marina sold out all their slips for the coming year. Might only have 9 open for in water....maybe.
They plan on installing more slips this season for maybe another show in 2020.

I'm organizing another show in Green Bay for July 20th at Jimmy Seas pub, grill and fenders.
All arrangements are made.

These long cold days are getting to me. I already started getting my "stuff" together for your sell/trade area.
