TOPIC: Boat identification

Boat identification 3 years 1 month ago #144252

I recently became the owner of my very first boat! I’m super excited and I wanted to restore it to original fori have. One problem,…I don’t know what I have. The motor is a Johnson super sea horse 50 mm add in 1958 according to serial numbers. But the hull is not identifiable in any obvious way. I’ve searched for about a week now for every type of fiberglass hull just trying to match the hull with something similar but to no avail. It was suggested that I make my way to this forum for real aficionados. I have attached sine images any help in id’ing this thing will be greatly appreciated. It is approximately 13’ long

First place to start is with the registration number. Contact the DNR and find out what it was registered as.

Welcome to Fiberglassics. I saw you over in BoatDesign.net. Someone will chime in with some ideas on the make of this boat.

I don't know if this is the right way to do this, but I recently found this boat for sale as a project boat and the owner also can't identify it. I was wondering (before I make the long trip out there to see it) if someone could possible identify it?

Looks like a Sidewinder to me. See my profile picture. There were also a number of copies made by other companies.
