First examble of one of these that I've seen.

In Buffalo area.

Owner was told it was used as a harbor patrol boat in the 60's and 70's.

Merc. 165 inline six.

Went and looked at it today, I'll put more pics up in a bit.

Looks to be in pretty good condition. Owner replaced the seats and the floor, but otherwise all original.

edit: posted 135, it's a 165 according to the owner.

Hi Dave,
That is one of the most unique boats I've seen! Thanks for posting it.
I'm surprised it isn't in your driveway :~) What do they want for it?

Thanks Peter,
This could be the flagship for the Custom Craft fleet, but I'm afraid my wife would kill me. The boat is basically turn key ready to go out on the water. Of course there are some cosmetics that need to be addressed, but that's to be expected for a 45 year old boat. The owner is open to reasonable offers, still working on the wife ;)

PETER : I have the same question, WHY it is not in Daves yard. "Looks like a nice SAFE FAMILY BOAT .? . Offer to put a Bimini top on , women like shade .!
. Sell one or two of the small speedsters to make room . It is a INVESTMENT in the bank with 50th annv coming to Buffalo this year .?

\"too soon old,too late smart\" my pap

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“

Buffalo, NY Boat Show on Grand Island in the fall.

First weekend after Labor day.

Custom Craft is the featured Glassic Boat this year and we are hoping to get as many boats together as we can.

The former VP of the company will be there to talk about the company on Friday afternoon.

The boats will be featured in their own section on land and/or in the water.

Boats can be either judged or not.

There will be more info up soon on www.oldboatsbuffalo.org , www.nicklecityclassics.com and FiberGlassics
