Just out of curiosity, I took a look at the rubrail on my 64 Aqua Ray (original). It is black C-shaped and is continuous from transom to transom. A fairly hard rubber. Interestingly, it is screwed on with galvanized (?) screws underneath about every 8". Installed it is about 1" thick and 1-1/4" deep. It does look a little like Wefco profile 1480G.

You might want to consider talking to a sales rep at Wefco. Maybe you could send him or her a small sample and they could make a recommendation.

John, like Ron says, Brian Lawson knows the part # for Wesco for rub rail for that boat. Email him and ask, or try and get his attention somehow.
