TOPIC: early 60's turbocraft jet 21

Hi,
I've been working on what i'm told is a 1961 or 1963 Turbocraft jet 21. I am having a real hard time finding out any info on the boat in general. The only thing I see on google that is the same or even similar by hull design is a guy selling one in Washington on Craigs list.
There is metal plate on the sides that says, "Turbocraft Jet 21" and it has a dual impeller hamilton jet. The top is seafoam green, and it had a red, white, and seafoam green interior. It is about 15ft, and drives from the left like a car. One of the more notable features that i've noticed different from most other Buehler or Dowty Turbocrafts is the duck-bill shaped bow.
The motor was replaced by the previous owner in the early 60's or 70's, and my mechanic helped me figure out that it's a 1961-1963 V8 aluminum 215 "rockette"

When I bought the boat it was a rotten mess, and after a few years of restoration I am to the stage of re-installing the jet.

Does anyone know where to find any literature or info about this specific model?

Try Old Marine Engine. Some time back there several posts about Turbocrafts. I have two 1961's, 15'-9", that have Ford Interceptor engines. Lots of info. and all kinds of engines.

I'm not sure, but they are the same as the one on the left in the picture that shows the three Turbocrafts on the beach in the Fiberglassics forum. It was some time back. One is a Buehler, but who built it. The other was built by Sooner Boat Mfg. of Oklahoma. Their site does not mention building Turbocrafts, that I could find.

I checked old marine engine, still can't find much on the "jet 21" Thanks though Darb!
Anyone else have any more suggestions?

sks, try posting some pictures of your hull, both here and old marine engines. there is a world of info. on these locations. i'm 78 and have lost count on how many boats i've had over the years, but i know that i have not seen them all. for what ever reason a lot of boats never got over the rocky mountains to the west coast. but i'll bet some one, here or old marine can id it for yor.
