I'm still trying to identify this boat I picked up.I've been having no luck putting pics on the forum, but I managed to get some in my profile. The boat has been sitting under the trees for 10 years, and I was surprized at whow solid it was. It came with a 1970 40hp Johnson, that I,m still trying to get running [waiting for parts] but I believe the hull may be older. I,m hoping to get working on it as a winter project. If anybody can help me identify it it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Interesting boat- my first impression was that it might be a Cutter or Owens, however it doesn't seem to match up. The raised windshield base, slight fins, and accent on the side are interesting features. The green Johnson Shipmaster outboard controls are much earlier than 1970, more like mid 1950's, but are probably not relevant to determining the age of the boat.

Has a "Sears" look to it. Might want to look into that area.

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.
