TOPIC: 1960 Crosby Ranger

1960 Crosby Ranger 14 years 6 months ago #9212

Hello all,

I purchased a 1960 Crosby Ranger a few years ago. The boat is in excellent shape.... this boat is very clean.
Last year i never put the boat in the water, and it's been on the trailer ever since.
My mistake was that i never pulled the plug, so the boat sat around for about 3-4 months with about 3-4" of water in it, and what's worse is that the water froze.
My question is,....will this affect the structure/strength of the fiberglass? I'm hoping i didn't ruin the boat. Again, it was in fantastic shape when i bought it.

Do you see any cracks in the glass ? If not your probably Ok, when you put it in the water next time be sure to look for any leaks. Now go sit in the corner and think about treating your boat nicer ;)

You can come out of the corner now if you post some pictures of that Crosby!

I think you will be ok but look for signs of cracking.
The glass on my 60 is quite thick
