I have had this boat in the stable for a while,We stripped it and ground it down to cloth of the majority of boat,Rebuilt the stringers but I didn't like the idea of stepping in between so we put a thin piece of plywood with biaxal 1 1/2 ounce inside and out.new transom with a couple knees for support.I am making a bench seat instead of a single bucket but it will be light,We gel coated the top after we installed it back and will get sanded and buffed then striped,I have a 1975 Johnson stinger with a nitro lower unit for it,,More pics later Bill

Boy does that bring back some mems! Had one back in the 70's, 70 Merc, raced against the Stingers! Lunched the motor, converted to a 2 seater, put a 50 Merc on it and by myself still got 50mph in good water! Fast and stable boat and a LOT of fun with it! Wish I still had it as now I would be crazy enough to toss a IL6 TOP on it! Pic still rigging it.

It is now on the trailer, sanded and buffed through out[gel coat]we are going to gel the inside and then spray webbing in,alum rub rail,,we made a seat to keep it low and a iwanted a wider one so it will be 46" wide, tach and speedo goes in holes, we did the stringers but I put a piece of plywood over the back to walk easier, clothed it inside ,out,it has an alum tank custom made to fit in center and that will also hold battery in center, next week should wrap it up except engine, still waiting shipping[75hp stinger with nitro lower unit,,just an update Bill

Ok the striper was here and now trailer winch stand is whipped just hook controls, tach, and some wires, then it goes to back room till our water softens, note the winch stand ,I wanted to keep it low so we put the winch on and then put a pipe to run rope through,,this is blu by u 2 after the samoan, allison is painted on trailer, and like I said we have a 40 hp limit so I put a little stinger on hood then people that know will know, see ya Bill

Bill, That is sweet. It's so hot you could probably set her on the ice and it will melt through to the softer water.

It's a crime when something that beautiful has to wait so long for a maiden voyage!! Only complaint I have so far about this winter!! Can't wait to see it on the water.
