TOPIC: Boat Mover.

Boat Mover. 12 years 5 months ago #63912

This is a little project I worked on this spring. I decide to try this to help move my boat in and out of the garage. My driveway has a hump in the middle of it which make it hard to move the boat around by hand. It is an old snow blower with a different set of controls on it. I still have some adjustments to do to it but it really works pretty good as it is.

What a cool idea. In my book it is a great person who sees a problem and makes a solution to fit his needs. I use an ATV but my yeard has hills ,slopes and holes.

Thanks guys for all the great comments.I am going to change a couple of things on it just too make it a little more user friendly. It really does make it easyer than trying to more the boat by hand or getting the rider out to move it a short distance.I decide to see how good it was yesterday and hooked the boat up to it and headed for the gas station for gas.It is only 1 block over but along ways around the block and it is on a busy street. I just hung a red flag on the back and away I went. It worked just fine. Cop didn't think it was to funny but there was nothing he could do. Just told me to be carefull. Lots of people at the station came over to look at it. Nice thing about it is I only have less than a hundred into it. I looked on line at battery powered one and they all started a over 2500. I fiure that for about 50bucks more I will have this one done up proper. Skip.
