TOPIC: 1960 Buehler Turbocraft, pics

Been real busy and not one to post a lot but I thought I should share my progress on the Buehler. Of course things aren't going anywhere near as fast as I thought my life would allow. The chrome was done for $1750 by Phillip at Super Fine Shine in Chillicothe, OH. This is the second boat chrome he has done for me and it has turned out beautiful each time. The jet drive sits on the shelf completely rebuilt. I gutted the original stringers from the boat in late fall of 2012 and in Jan 2013 I started the structure rebuild. It is totally Corecell, East System Epoxy and 1710 stitch mat. The center stringers are 3" with 4" at the engine mount area and the outside stringers are 2" with 1/2" cross braces. Not sure if this all correct but it is the way I decided to do it. The boat is now stored away until summer when I will bond the deck to hull with 3M5200 and use 1/2" Corecell with cloth each side and bonded to the stringers with 3M5200. With luck the boat might float in 2015. I am upgrading from a Gray Marine 6 cyl to a 1995 Marine 351W. I could use advice on engine cover prints and pictures of what an original interior in a late 1959 early 1960 Buehler would look like and available color scheme's. My rub rail was stapled every 2" and haven't looked for rub rail yet. More pics to come

Great to see progress! This photo looks like the cockpit of your boat. Sorry it isn't more clear, but you can clearly see the pattern of the engine hatch covering.
