Hello all, been a while. We just had a baby, our third daughter, and have not had much boat time.

Getting the cat ready for a trip to the lake tomorrow. But starboard motor will not tilt up. The motor runs to let it down but will not run when you tell it to go up. I can feel the solenoid click when my 4 year old moves the title switc in either direction.

I guess it could still be a bad solenoid. I'll test that in the morning. Is it the same solenoid that is on the engine? Looks similar.

I guess if I can't get tilt to work in the am we can take the mfg.

This cat is determined to stay dry!

Congratulations! New babies in the family is a wonderful thing.

Yes.
If you have (2) solenoids on your trim pump - one for up & one for down, you can actually use the down solenoid for 'UP', and not use a solenoid for 'DOWN' - just connect the small green to the large green for DOWN.
You can also use a jumper wire going from the UP solenoid's big red wire from the battery to the big blue wire to trim up. There will be small sparks from making contact with the jumper wire, so unless your bilge or splash-well area are not quite open and well vented, this can be very dangerous.
