Has anyone got a picture of an old merc pressure tank they could post? I just bought a Mark 20 that uses one and I have never seen one before. A pic of the fitting for the motor would help also.

Thanks,
Jeff

I have attached a crummy picture of the 20H style pressure tank.
I can't seem to find pixs of one I restored a couple years ago.
I also attached a couple pixs of the fuel connector.

Unless you are planning a correct restoration though, a great upgrade that eliminates the need for the troublesome pressure tank system, is to use a Mark 25 fuel pump in place of the crankcase valve body on the engine, use a Mark 25 fuel connector inside the port cowling, and then you can use a common '60's- present gas tank.
I don't remember if you can still use the portside cowling from your Mark 20, or if you need to also use a portside cowling from a Mark 25.

Thom use the duel line fitting if you have and block the pressure line at the motor end or mount the single line fitting on the mark 20 under the carb. like the conversion, model.

Just a thought here (dangerous on my part) If I could get my hands on one of those fittings, could I use a (Johnson...GAG) pressure tank?

Doc,
I love the idea of converting to the fuel pump, single line connector. Where would the pump pick up it's pulse from the motor?
