TOPIC: 62 Merc 500 User Manual?

Hi,
This may be better in the Merc outpost so move it if you need to. I'm starting to install the control unit on my 62 Lake n Sea restoration and realized I don't have any docs for it. The parts schematics are on line but what I can't seem to find is a smaller booklet (user manual) like I have for an Evinrude (selectric shift) that goes through all the basics; start up procedure, optimal RPM's, how to use the warm up lever, etc. Does such a booklet exist and if so does someone have a copy for sale or could you possibly scan the pages and email or post them here? Picture of the control unit and engine shown. If not, would a Merc 500 user be able to outline the basics for me?

There's quite a few Merc folks on here that can probably help. The Merc forum would probably be a better place to ask and I can move this there if you like.

I am attaching a print-out I share with my Merc customers.
I have these print-outs specific to most 1959-2005 Mercs.
You will have to magnify my jpg picture to read it, since I don't know how to change .odt to something compatible to this forum.
