First time fire up ? '85 115 14 years 8 months ago #2331

Ok - Got the lower unit rebuilt and all the rest of the motor detailed, painted etc. T&T works great.........

Not been run since around May of last year......10-11 months.....My merc guy says put some clean gas to her and start her up. Any one have an opinion ?............

Don't forget the oil :) Good luck Don... I know you put a lot of work into it.

Keep a close eye on the telltale stream, and assuming you're running it on muffs don't run it at elevated rpms.

Olive oil ?? hehe.....Thought you might have to squirt some stuff in the carbs to loosen up the floats ?? Yea, won't over rev it, assuming it starts !
