i got my new mercontrol that i'm installing. its a lot smaller than the original from the 62-700. i will be able to mount it in a much more comfortable position. i can't remove the turn-screw that has the spring on it. see pic.

well i finally got the cable ends off and installed on the new ones. can't for the life of me figure how to hook them back up to the motor. both cables move when i move the remote so i don't even know which one is the throttle no less trying to adjust those barrels. don't know how to put the motor in neutral without using the remote. just not my bag guys.

The small black lever that is to the right of the key switch. Move it up and down and watch the cables, that will be your throttle.
