TOPIC: Lower unit question?

After my 74' 850 sits for a few days I have gear lube seeping from a hole on the right side of the lower unit toward the front just below the cav plate. I'm not seeing water in the lube after dropping it a couple of times to be sure. Just wondering if this is normal like some sort of pressure release or over flow. The repair manual I have doesn't show any mention of it either. Any thoughts on this guys??
