O.K. here's the deal. First pic. is of the cowling before restoration, were the decals original?
Second pic. is what NYmarine calls for 60-61.
ID plate is missing from motor,so not sure of year. Does have the screw in knob on faceplate.
nymarine shows the 59 decal to look like my original.

I agree, the '60 has the red and black decals and the screw in knob, so you should be correct for the year. The '61 has a extra small 45hp decal on the top cowl which is not on yours so it should be a '60. Wonderful engine, I have three of them!!

clamp brackets should be cloud white also.
i THINK the super thunderbolt is black on the high spots.

Thanks for the input Dave.
Still debating on the clamp brackets, Transom cover is polished aluminum, also the rud rail is the same all the way around.
Right now I've exposed the alum. on Super Thunderbolt and the
Dyna-Float. Will decide on all that while it's on the stand and I'm working on the 58 Reinell Jetabout.
