Next week the Mrs and I are heading east from Green Bay through Canada and spending a few weeks in Nova Scotia touristing. Looking forward to some lobsters and muscle dinners. Will be heading back through the US, Main, Vermont, Penn. Price of gas is heading in the right direction. We have an older RV Ford E350 with the EFI 460 cu in. 8 1/2 mpg on a good downhill run.
Next week the Herters which is pretty much finished is going to a local Merc dealer to get timed and tuned. Now I will break the news that it is going up for sale in a few weeks. Those Maine lobsters are pricey!

And a silence fell over the room, the only sound heard was my jaw hitting the floor! Just kidding Cal, enjoy the vacation. Somebody will get a super nice boat buddy, thank you for sharing the build with us! ;)

Cal
Enjoy the vacation and drive safe.
And you just gotta get some shots of the Herters in the water with you as the captain!! You just gotta!!
I am with Mark, some one is going to get a fine boat.

Thanks guys, looking forward to the trip. Might make a stop in VT. An online friend is restoring the sister of my woodie. only four numbers different in the ID's and they were on the build floor at the same time. We are in touch occasionally, he calls for info and measurements.
Hard part for me now is the same old question, what is the Herters worth.
whatever someone is willing to pay.

Bob, John I'm not doing anything with it until we get back from the coast then it will be going up to the Door County, WI Maritime Museum annual antique wood show the first weekend in Aug. I'll also have some time to put it in the water for some pics.
