TOPIC: Seneca Point, Cook's Forest

Seneca Point, Cook's Forest 12 years 1 month ago #70701

Took a day trip yesterday to Seneca Point in the Cook's Forest region of The Allegheny National Forest. Colors are at their height for this year. My Mother came with us. Bridge in the pic. My wife and I Me and Mom Trees growing out of the rocks with roots exposed. You have to wonder if Frank and Gertrud are still around. 1942-53-60-82. Firetower We seen an Eagle circling the tower too. What a wonderful day.

nice pics rob...i always wondered how trees can grow like that. i guess the roots follow the veins in the rock, but without the moisture that soil has, where does it come from?
