Being new to this I was not sure. Is this a good deal without the engine / controls?

Even a cheap skate like me would consider that a deal. If it were 2.5 hours from me I know what I would be doing tomorrow!

The Featherccraft brand has some models that command top dollar even when a sawZall savant has gotten ahold of them.

The Clipper doesn't follow the typical sleek and sexy barrel back look of other FCs and doesnt have nearly the following that other models do.

I bought a 1957 FC Clipper in SaltLakeCity because I'd been looking for one for quite some time. It hasn't been hacked into a fishing boat (ie: the sawZall savant comment earlier), it came w/ a title, as did the unique & interesting trailer which also has new tires, bearings & tags, and a vintage dockbuster Merc 700 that's had recent work done, so it's a runner.

For $600 AND he delivered it to a storage yard for me.

Did I mention I'm in WV? So it's 1950mi ONE WAY for me to go pick up my Clipper.

Does that answer your question?

If you like a unique, different FINNED vintage aluminum boat, this certainly fits that bill, in SPADES in my opinion.

Worth $750?

Perhaps

Worth a days drive to and from to take a look and possibly buy?

Perhaps

Would I consider it?

Heck yeah, kind of already have:

I actually already posted a

Do you think the Admiral would accept a 'His & Her's Clippers' argument?

on another forum.

I'd offer less, but be willing to either walk away or pay the asking. There aren't that many sub $1K cool vintage tin boats around.

Mine:

Good luck
