Looks like a model 240 Take-Along by Thompson Bros. Boat Mfg. Co. The braces from seats to inwales are different than the factory originals. Also, someone added covering boards on top of the gunwales. Probably actually stiffens up the hull.

$1,000 is not a bad price.

These are great little boats. I learned how to water ski behind one at age 5 or 6! She was pushed by a 6 HP Merc from 1961! Our family still has the boat, motor, and those water skis!
