I came across this today and believe it or not I said no, for the first time I walked away, head hung low wishing I had the space.
Anyway it is a full project but mostly all there. He will give it away to a good home if it really gets restored.
If anyone is interested I have his phone number so e-mail me and I will put you in touch. It is in Canastota N.Y. out by Sylvan Beach.

cosmic12,

How long is the hull & what is the power?
(I cannot tell from the photo if it's a typical MERCRUISER I/O or not.)

LOOKS like a good project.

yours, satx

I am thinking 19' and he says its a 1965 Devil Ray but I am not so sure. It is very big, at the very least 19 but it looks more like 20/21 to me and I don't think it is a Devil Ray. I f you look in the library the closest one I can find is the Sportsmen for 64.

I just tried to set this guy up with someone from here and now he says ya gotta buy the trailer to get the boat.
Funny how things change when someone shows real interest.
He told me he just wants it gone to someone who will restore it.
I am sorry if I have been part of anything miss leading.

loooooooooong time ago jim. i liked the devilray much bettter than the mantaray. more room to move around and you don't have to take the back seat out to fill the gas tank. should of had a fill tube extended thru the splashwell when i bought it. too old now to mess with the rear bench seat. ugh
would consider some kind of trade +cash for a 16' pontoon. ron
