Glass craft is cool! Just need a matching old-school metal Coleman cooler between those awesome molded bench seats and you are ready for a booze cruise.

I am partial to Lone Stars as that was my first boat. That one looks like it needs to be excavated from the gravel!!

We are very fortunate around here in the foothills of the Adirondacks, there are MANY finds with all the lakes in the area. lots of boats are boat house kept their entire lives and the summer is short.

Utica and Syracuse NY craigslist often have many projects in the ADK area.

The Lone Star is a "Mystic". Very unusual design and build process. There are no ribs or framework. It's a thin molded outer shell with 3" of foam and then a thin inner shell. Floors are curved and not very stable. I rebuilt one of these and not very impressed with the structure.

Probably a good thing that I do not live closer. Might succumb to my hoarding tendencies!! I really just want to save cool old boats and motors - is that so wrong!!

BTW - Cal - apparently the saying is wrong because you did put a pretty good shine on a POS!! Nice shot of Suamico "harbor"
