Or maybe it needs a nice set of twin 1350's, my fav-o-rite Merc motor of all time!!

The price might seem a little high at first but keep in mind it's a pretty unique boat and at least some of the heavy work is already done.
I'm no expert or even what you would call knowledgeable in general about boats but I enjoy restoring other older items like woodworking machines and there are similarities. The buy-in is often the cheapest part of the project. At the end of the rebuild of a boat like that you would have a unique looking basically brand new boat that's guaranteed to turn heads anywhere and you would still be major money ahead of buying a new cookie cutter boat.

My wife has even seen the light, she loves the 16C I got... I think the price is reasonable. $2K for that much cool? Bargain.
