Well Skip, I am getting rid of one this weekend. Minus, not plus. I know, I know, that's going the wrong way. But all is not lost, I have my eye on a little Larson with fins, and a Merc.

Neil, that little cruiser sure looks sweet. The fin job don't look to bad either. I sure wish I was living out that way again. Here in NE. there is only 4 classics. My 2 and one in the middle of the state that has been for sale for yrs. The other one belongs to some guy that is " gonna rebuild it next year" for the last 10yrs.Plus where are only 5 White mercs in the whole state. I own 2 of them. One other is a 400 for 500 bucks , non runner. The other 2 are hanging on stands somewhere. Skip.

I just wish that there were more folks that appreciate these old boats out here. I could keep them all stocked up. But for most folks that are living in this instant/throw away society, these old boats and motors just don't fit.
One of the biggest thrills for me is the hunt. Knocking on doors and meeting people. Calling and chatting about these old boats and motors. The field would broaden if I would look at other motors than just the Mercurys also. I do believe that when I leave this planet, my wife is going to have a Kiekhaefer yard sale that will be one not to miss!!
