What do you guys think of this old girl?

What are the odds that the hull is all good and sea worthy?

One would have to check it out really good. see if it has been stored inside or out. Check to make sure the hull hasn't developed a hook in it. It looks more likely a very late 50s or into the 60s style hull. Also since it is a inboard the mounts and where the shaft log go through the hull will have to be checked out really good. Any rot around this area will mean alot of work to repair.

Definitely not something I am interested in. I don't have the time, money or experience to tackle something like this for a full resto. But say a fella wanted to drop a 427 in her or something? Do these make decent speed boats?

Hellcat, woodies are long term projects. Either stored inside or out makes no difference there is still rot. Wood naturally decays over time. You would have to go through the entire boat with something like an ice pick poking around especially the frames under the motor where oil and gas drip. It looks like a lot of work to me. The motor might be worth the price.

The windshield alone might be worth that price he is asking for. Aesome boat, great deal if the hull is any good.
