They do get "mixed reviews" however, I've heard several complaints from folks doing business with them without inspecting what thy're buying in person. (?) Seems like you'd want to check it out personally before making a purchase on something like this anyway, right? They're a couple hours drive north of me, but if you see anything you want checked out CAT*FIN*k let me know.

They are on my list when I can get the time to get away. I've seen them list a Power Cat from time to time. For now I need to stick within a day of home. Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with getting our dock finished and things settled with the neighbors and the city about the house. In a few months we should be able to make a road trip. I had a bad experience shipping a boat before. It would have to be something very special to it risk again.

This is a good time of year to pick up a boat here. Temps will start getting to high for most boaters & the snowbirds are leaving. The older stuff is even starting to come out so I'm hopeful. If nothing shows up by June there's often a good deal on a late model Twin Vee to get me out fishing again. The Mullet run has started and our canal is full of record Tarpon, Snook, Redfish etc.

Thanx for the offer Mark! Your right about inspecting before you buy. An exception to prove the rule....a Samoan listed for $50. Unless it was just a bag of Samoan DNA, I would not think twice, I'ld be more afraid on missing out and take the risk.

I remember that, pretty severe damage from the boat not being tied down properly as I recall? Do you still have that project CAT?, how'd she turn out?

Your memory is good Mark. The Mantaay and trailer bounced off the semi trailer going down the road. Still have the MR, but have not been able to finish it. An FG member stopped by a few days ago by chance to check it out. Every time the neighbor sees me with a tool they try to have me arrested. I'll need to rent shop space and thats a 1 year lease. A second cat to restore should fill that year and maybe get a 3rd one done.

Shannon I replied last night. I was busy outside yesterday cleaning up outside after the storms.
