I have a little experience with hydrostreams. I would caution anyone who buys one to take their time getting to know their handling characteristics. They are very fast (I mean way above 60 mph, some can do do three digits) and have a nasty tendency to kite at high speed. I investigated 3 accidents involving Hydrostreams where that happened and involved fatalities. You really need to know what you are doing with one of these.

I knew the dealer on Long Island, NY who sold these and he use to require his customers to take a boat handling course before they delivered the boat. He also sold them to the marine police as chase boats.
