Well Skip, it is at an auction.
I am highest now with $450.00.
But there are seven days left.
$475.00 is my ceiling.
I am not anticipating a win!

Neat package though.

Neil,
I hope you win it. The only part that you have to worry about is the last minute of the auction. I've lost a bunch of stuff that way.

I don't play the nickel and dime bidding. I put my max bid in, and if I win I win ? If not, I move on. sweet boat though !

Wow - I thought there were only 4 left. I think this makes 5. I wouldn't take less than $10,000 for mine. It has a Frankenmerc on it.

The Delbilt went for about $2000 after fees and taxes.

There is another one in North Idaho. It is stripped but comes with all the parts Including the original Merc 78 The owner is asking $900. He keeps putting it in the Spokane Craigslist but misspells the name as i think Dibilt or something similar. I thought I had a deal but he got flaky so I bought another. I Think I still have his contact info if interested.

It sold to a gentleman in Nelson, BC. Great shape and the Merc 850 was beautiful. He brought it by the house to show me and picked up an Evinrude Lark 40 from meat the same timer.

The Delbilt was built by my great uncle. His name was Del Smart. Our family has been looking for one it purchase for my Dad as a gift. It was his fathers brother that designed and built them all. Does anyone know of one forsale? Thank you.

Hi Jill, can you provide any further details about your great uncle's company? Did he have a company and where was it located? Is it known how many were built? Was there any connection to Hydroglass of San Pedro, California? These were very similar boats to the Del-Bilts.

Photo is of a Hydroglass
