Chris, why couldn't you take the boat you have and put the top deck/center deck on this boat? I don't know if it can be done, but looks like to me it wouldn't be too much trouble. just a thought..jim

Those extra Knee braces on the rear floor look to be added over time. Good deal if newer transom.. Windshield & usable seats are a plus.
The rope steering wheel should be a desireable Glasspar item.
At half price $250 is a better project price.. Has the trim for
a short shaft style. . Maybe a member from MAINE will come over &
DICKER if the seller puts in Uncle Henry's News for Thursday. ??

Hi Jim,
The g3 hull is the same from 1959 to 1967. I haven't done it but have thought of it. I still have two good center decks, one good open deck and the "flowerpot g3" to restore. Chris could very well transfer decks. The open deck models have fiberglass stringers. As Larry pointed out the transom appears to have recent reconstruction or reinforcement.

Hey Al, I kinda thought they might share the same hull and the later models having fiberglass stringers would definitely be a plus to me. jim
