I started out with the size that is in ken's post about posting pic's. and was told by ads manger that image was too large. so now i'm down to 600 pixels and was told that was too large also. what am I doing wrong. I have them as jpeg format. thanks, greg

Did you try clearing your cache or using a different browser? I'm not saying that's the problem, but it might be worth a shot.

well guys, here is an update on my problem with posting pic's on glassifieds. 1st of all , I used a different camera, then I imported the images on to my computer, then I renamed them and sent them to my documents, and then I resized them. well I found out that once they are in the documents you can not resize them. but you can resize the ones that you have in your library. it was really making me mad, so now that I figured that out it works ok . but I still can not e-mail pic.s, even the ones that I could before, so I guess it is still a trip to the geeks for me. hope you all have a great weekend , and thanks for listening to my rambling. thanks frog

Hi Frog,

I just use paint, it's included in all windows computers, it's fast and easy. There are other programs out there of course, but paint works just fine for basic cropping and resizing.

Just pull up your pic from whatever file from paint, click resize, click pixels and put in whatever size you want. I find that 1600 for the larger size dimension works best, small enough for the web, but big enough to see some detail.

Don't forget to resave with a different name in either the existing file or a new one. I usually just add a "-1600" to the name.

Good luck!!
