I am looking to buy a houseboat and found this one. The interior carpeted floor is humped up along the length of the floor about an inch or two. Down the very center. Could this be a fiberglass hull problem? I am concerned the hull is indented along a stringer. If it just a structural issue with the floor supports, I can fix.

Hard to say without actually seeing the problem, but it sounds like a stringer/floor issue. If she's out of the water it should be fairly easy to check for hull damage or distortion?

Welcome aboard, btw.

Might be a good idea to hire a marine surveyor to look it over.
