Welcome Ratfink. Can you post some pics of your boat, it would certainly assist in the identification process.

There's some Winner info in the FG library:
www.fiberglassics.com/library/Winner
but it only goes up to 1973...........

Thanx for the welcome, and I will try to get the pics on asap. It has been repainted and I can't find any type of name badge.

I could be wrong, but I think '74 was the first year they required boat builders to cast the id number into the hull, most are on the starboard side of the transom on the outside. This may assist in your search, I don't know that much about the line.

This is a 1974 winer cougar. I can't seem to upload pics from my camera so I used this pic off the internet. The only difference is mine is blue from the rub rail down.

It's probably a size issue on the pics, Try this thread from the support column, it's got some good info on pic sizing.

Thank you!! That did the trick. Got A little bad news today. It seems the transom is got a rather large rotten spot where the wood inside has deterierated. I think I might need some advice on this. Mechanical problems dont worry me, but I am not a wood worker or glass' man at all!!!!
