TOPIC: 1970 dolphin 23 ft. dual 140 mercs i/o 's

this dolphin co. was in miami fla. i just bought it last week was wondering if anybody knows or has pics of one in its glory days . looking to restore . look at pics see if you can guide me in the right direction thanks for your time .

just started removal of gunwale aft, removed both motors and outdrives . need to replace transom, stringers and deck .can someone tell me how close to the hull i need to cut to remove the deck. want to try and reuse ,only has one soft spot forward port side where seat was.what is the best way to replace the stringers. will also be replacing motor support .

Looks like a good candidate for a poured transom.
You don't have a splashwell.. so why remove the deck? The upper gunwales should not be any hinderance to floor or stringer replacement.

Need a photo of the interior to help out with that.
