Welcome PH. Have you checked out the Crownline section in the FG Library? There's a button in the tool bar at the top of the page, or here's a direct link;

As far as where to get stuff for it, can you be a little more specific? What are you looking for? There are sources for some replacement parts, if you're looking to restore to original condition that's a different task all together. ;)

Welcome aboard!

Well, she is a Crownline built at Onarga, Illinois, serial number 7771. They started making boats there in 1956 and were shut down in 1963. So, your boat is from sometime during that time period. They moved to Cairo, Illinois in July 1963.

The chrome logo on the hullsides is a clue to the year. Look closely at the brochures for that logo being used. It is from the latter years at Onarga, IL.

Look at the Glassic Library section here at this website for brochures on Crownline.

I have a 1965 Thompson fiberglass G1500 boat that was made for Thompson by Crownline at Cairo, IL. It has Thompson hullside logos and Crownline metal builder's tag on the inside of the transom!

I wrote an article on Crownline history which should be published this Autumn in "Classic Boating" magazine.

Ok thanks for that.

Boat has been sitting for 3 years uncovered and has been in the weather...snow, sun, rain. I would like to add some more seating in the boat but I do not know if I can put screws into bottom of the boat for fear of damaging Hull. I am a new person to the boating world. Are there good places to shop for Seats and that sort of stuff?

Thanks,

Paul Huber

What is the latest status on your boat. I suspect it is or could be a 62 model as I believe that is a 62, 40 horse Evinrude on it.
