Haven't been back on the forum since I got this boat last fall. It's great that FiberGlassics has added an 80's forum.

On the boat - all original. Nice little runabout that goes 40 or so, 6 cyl with an OMC Cobra drive.

Welcome back! 40 or so? That's unsatisfactory. Keep your eye out for a beat-up boat with a big block Chevy and a Bravo outdrive and then do a little transplanting. Feed the need for speed. Big oil needs your support. Do it for your country!

Beautiful! Favorite kind of boat - "original and unrestored".

Well I took it out on the river Wednesday. Ran it up to Lake Huron and it was flatter than the river. Ran her up to 45 mph on GPS @ 4400 rpm. Later in the river I got 48 going downstream. Not too bad for an original, 30 year old motor. I have two other props but I am not sure of their specs.
