TOPIC: Best trailer for '57 Lonestar Malibu

Best trailer for '57 Lonestar Malibu 10 years 8 months ago #92219

I have a '57 Lonestar Malibu (14' long, 61" beam) runabout on a homemade pipe trailer. For a nicer rig, I'm looking for advice on what brand/model of trailer would be best to replace this homemade trailer. Any thoughts, comments or recommendations are appreciated.

You could keep your eyes open for a nice Gator, Holsclaw, or TeeNee in a more "period correct" range Scott, but they often require a total restoration.

It looks like you have a decent start to a good trailer there, maybe just re-configure with proper bunks and rollers? (I'd also lose the silver paint and refinish in a gold tone to match the boat trim?)

Here's a place I have used to procure boat hardware in the past, reasonable prices and great service;
