TOPIC: Cpes suggestions

What do you guys use for clear penetrating epoxy sealer? I see smiths in my searches but can't find it available anywhere.

Just curious...What are you using CPES for? I know someone in the Resin industry that has a lot of knowledge concerning epoxy and it's usage. I also encourage anyone considering using CPES to read this... www.seqair.com/skunkworks/Glues/WestSystem/Thinning/Thinning.html

Red oak transom board. I know red is a no no but I've got quite a bit, it's free, I hate plywood, I don't like painted wood... Im planning on cpes then varnishing the whole piece. The boat will only be in the water for a few hours at a time and it's stored indoors.

I have enough to do it 10x and it's an easy job on this boat. If I can get 5 years out of it that's fine. I'll probably come across some other free lumber by then. I prefer to use recycled products. This wood is from a massive bar someone was removing from their newly purchased house.
