I thought I'd post some photos of our project boat. It is almost entirely constructed of 1/2inch MDO plywood. The interior is 95% finished and the outer hull is in primer waiting for warmer weather.
We acquired this boat from Marty Loken who purchased it from the son-in-law of the original owner. Marty also wrote an article in Rudder magazine's 2007 winter issue volume 16 number3 that contains the complete story on the history behind the builders and original owner of the boat. The boat has a great layout with an abundance of storage spaces. We were able to also purchase the 2 35hp Johnson outboards and Morse controls that were mounted on the motor board listed in the itemized bill of accessories from McChesney Boat Works. We hope to have it ready for next years Dungeness crab season, camping and just cruising the waters of Puget Sound.

Glad you got the pic thing worked out Melanie, looks like you've got an awesome restoration in process there! That's too cool having the original paperwork and history on the cruiser, those prices just kill me. You guys and gals on the left coast are doing some fantastic work.
