TOPIC: 1949 Wagemaker Wolverine?

I have purchased a Wagemaker Wolverine wood boat. The previous owner bought it at an auction with no title, just a bill of sale, and we are not 100% sure of its model year. I have been searching the internet for something on this, but am having trouble finding anything about the 1949 model year. Can anyone help me with this dilema?

I need to see more pictures of your boat! I too, am hungry for more pictures of all Wolverines. If you find a place, let me know! I do know there is a site, but I can't get registered for some reason and the contact person doesn't respond to my emails. Looking at your boat, I would say it was made around '56-'57 give or take. Some states don't reguire a title when a boat is built before a certain date and sometimes it is the size of the boat.

I did find out that my boat was titled as a 1949, but it is indeed a 1956. I found somebody that showed me how to read the id tag. Thanks for your replies.
