TOPIC: Help to indentify this boat

Help to indentify this boat 13 years 7 months ago #31850

I recently purchased a 12' twin cockpit cedar strip outboard. It looks to be late 40s early 50s. It is cedar strips on white oak frames with mahogany decks.

The only id on it is the number J499 on the upper left of the transom.

I reminds me of a Chetek, Thompson or Tomahawk.

It anyone has an idea or information that can help, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

Steve

Looks a lot like an old Thompson. I sold a similar one a few years back.
