TOPIC: 28th Annual Century Thoroughbred Round Up Pics

Century Boat Club's 28th Annual Thoroughbred Round up is 10 September on Manistee River Walk, Manistee Michigan. Details are available on the Century Bot Club website. Wanted to post this for two reasons
1. Didn't see it on here and wanted to let the Century fan folks know.
2. I'm going to be there and was wondering if any of the other kind folks here were going.

I'm heading out of Maryland Friday morning 9 Sep to hit Prudenville where my step mom is and head across to the show Saturday morning. Also going to try and stop by MR. John Gibson's on the way there or way back if he's around.

If your going, let me know, would be great to meet some folks while I'm there.

With two Century boats in the shop I should be going, but it's just not possible. I need to spend the time working on them.

I planned on going but the four legged torpedo put the kebash on my plans. I'm heading to Lake Geneva on the 25th for sure. I want to see the Herters that is going up for auction.

That's OK guys I know how it goes. I hope other folks will be there.

OK, here are some pics from the show. They aren't great, left and brought the good camera but forgot the battery and charger, ARGH!!!!!!!!! Theae are with a $19 digital special from Wally World. Had to be a quick run through the show couldn't stay long. Best I could do.

I'm guessing you probably see a theme here. Focused on the resorters that were close to mine so I know how I should restore mine. I have other pics but mostly of the inside of the Resorters There were about 18 boats total I think. Like I said I didn't have a lot of time so I couldn't take pics of all of them. I'm sure they'll be up on the Century Boat Club site.I did get a lot of info from the Miklos borthers that was very helpful, thanks guys.

Bob , i gotta tell you that i have been looking at some of the Glen L classic runabout designs , and have been tossing aroung a few ideas of maybe building one ..............when the Resorter is done.............

Yeah I was looking at those too. Some very nice designs. Might be a plan after my Resorter also.
