These two Chris-Crafts are for sale north of Detroit. Not sure of the seller's ID of the first as a 1951-1953 27' Express Cruiser, the second as a 1965 Chris Craft Ranger. Can anyone correct/ confirm this? I really like the purported '65 Chris-Craft Ranger.

Wow -
If there's one thing we can all agree upon it's that I know nothing. I would go out on a limb and suggest that these two would take at least a few weeks and darn near a hundred dollars to restore.

Here's a thread from a fellow who took on what would appear to be a less difficult task

And then..and then..and then..

I love the look but OMG!

As far as I could turn up, the second one is the sedan configuration, without a flying bridge, of some 1950's model or another. Pretty cool boats so thought I would share them with the forum.

I wish the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club's "Antique and Classic Boat Encyclopedia" wiki was more developed, though it's a pretty good looking wiki so far: www.chris-craft.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

I have the Chris Craft nubering guide at home. If you can get hull #'s, I can tell you pretty close to what they are. The "complete guide" I think it's called, has a couple of enomilies in it, but quite helpful for the most part.
